Dish Soap or Dishwashing Liquid is not only for cleaning dishes, pots and pans. There are many other uses that most people do not know about.

Wash hair and remove hair color

Detergent has a fat-dissolving effect. It is therefore also excellent as a shampoo additive. Put a few drops of dish soap in your shampoo. In addition, you can also make mistakes that have arisen during hair coloring, by washing your hair once a week with a mixture of water and a few drops of detergent.

Cleaning blender

You do not have to disassemble your blender to get it thoroughly cleaned. Just fill it up to half with water and a few drops of dish soap. Let it run for a few seconds and then rinse it with water. Last but not least, you only need to let the mixer air-dry.

Cleaning make-up sponge

So that it does not come to unsightly blackheads and pimples, you should free your make-up sponge regularly from make-up residues. You can easily do that with a mix of water and a few drops of dish soap.

Removing stubborn stains

Some stains or smudges on clothing are difficult to remove. Dish soap helps you to solve this problem. Just put a few drops of it on the affected areas and then wash your laundry as usual.

Cleaning the air conditioner

You should clean the foam or metal filters of your air conditioner once a month. You can easily do this by placing the filter in a bath of warm water and detergent and gently scrubbing it with a toothbrush. Once you have removed all the debris, rinse the filter with water again and let it air dry.

Getting rid of blocked toilet

If your toilet is clogged, you can put in a cup of detergent. Wait 10 minutes afterwards. Then you dump a bowl of hot water in the toilet and flush two times. The clogging is now eliminated and the toilet ready to prepared for new tasks.

Bathing pets

A warm bath with a little detergent will remove the fat and bacteria from your pet’s coat.

Turning yellow lawn green again

For this you need a canister, which has a volume of about 38 to 76 liters. Add 0.4 liters of cola light, a cup of corn syrup or sugar syrup, or half a cup of mouthwash and a cup of dish soap to these. Then you fill in water until the canister is full. Spray your lawn about every three weeks with this mixture and watch the grass turn greener.

Making soap bubbles

Children love to make bubbles and play with them. Simply pour a portion of dish soap and two parts of water into a container for this fun. Already the blowing can begin!
